UC Health is hiring a Full Time Employee Assistance Clinical Coordinator
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating daily clinical and administrative operations of the UC Health Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This position has a strong emphasis on confidentiality and ethical conduct due to high level of privacy for our clients. The EAP Clinical Coordinator is a key player in our client services team, ensuring seamless and efficient intake processes. Responsibilities will encompass a variety of critical tasks aimed at providing exceptional service to our clients and referral sources.

Responsibilities
EAP Service Coordination/Triage:
• Manages intake calls (respond to phone and email inquiries, schedule intake appointments with appropriate therapist, answer practice-related questions).
• Obtains a comprehensive understanding of each client's presenting situation.
• Thoroughly assesses and triages client needs and ensures that appropriate services are arranged in a timely manner.
• Addresses specific requests from referral sources promptly and accurately.
• Provides ongoing support to employees throughout the intake process by answering questions and offering guidance.
• Manages intake paperwork collection and ensures EHR files are accurate.
• Coordinates with clinicians on managing their schedules.
• Provides metrics to Clinical Supervisor and Manager on EAP utilization
• Assists in connecting employees to community referrals and resources; maintains working relationships with external referrals
• Responds to outreach and urgent requests and consults with clinical team as appropriate
• Assists with planning and facilitation of EAP-sponsored trainings and outreach
• Identifies and responds appropriately to different needs resulting from unique psychological needs or those associated with religious / cultural norms.
• Identifies any physical limitations of the patient and deploys intervention when necessary.
• Engages in population-appropriate communication.
• Gives clear instructions to clients and other employees regarding services.
• Recognizes and responds to signs/symptoms of abuse or neglect.
Administrative Duties:
• Sends client appointment reminders, manages appointment cancellations and reschedule requests
• Assists with administrative management of EHR system
• Ensures physical office space is clean, private, and safe for clinical care
• Prepares reports and power point presentations as needed to support departmental needs
• Understands and follows all practices, policies and procedures
• Ensures office equipment is maintained and operational
• Checks office supplies and restocks when necessary
• Attends mandatory staff meetings and training as directed
• Performs clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing and emailing
Marketing & Outreach:
• Actively works to expand EAP referral base by promoting EAP services and building new partnerships.
• Maintains regular contact with referral sources and other relevant organizations to foster strong relationships.
• Follows-up with referral sources through handwritten cards, visiting offices in-person, or by other means.
• Edits and publishes clinician-written blogs or communications as directed.
• Creates marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and social media posts about Employee Well-Being and EAP services.
• Collaborates with external organizations to ensure excellent customer service for clients at all times.
Financial:
• Maintains records and provides recaps of billing for any billed EAP services
• Monitors EAP supply budget
Other Duties as Assigned:
• Supports Employee Well-Being Services team through other duties as assigned by Clinical Supervisor and/or Department Manager

Qualifications
- Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree - Mental Health, Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, Human Services, Neuroscience or Public Health.
- LICENSE & CERTIFICATION: BSW/LSW preferred.
- Minimum Required: 1 - 2 Years equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience.
