As a Permanent Embedded Software Engineer, you will be a part of a dynamic and innovative team, working on cutting-edge technologies in the Engineering industry. You will be involved in the design, development, integration, and testing of embedded software for our next-generation products. This role will require you to leverage your technical expertise and creativity to solve complex problems and contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and test software for embedded systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment.
2. Implement and maintain software for our wearable devices, focusing on battery charging solutions and device drivers.
3. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and performance of the software.
4. Debug and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
5. Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, testing, and maintenance.
6. Develop software documentation to ensure efficient maintenance and code reuse.
7. Participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards.
8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our software solutions are innovative and competitive.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in embedded software development.
3. Proficient in programming languages such as C and C++.
4. Experience with embedded firmware, software integration, and software design.
5. Familiarity with Linux and device driver development.
6. Experience with wearable technology and battery charging solutions is a plus.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
10. Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently.
