Your Role As a HealthStreamer
Position Summary
HealthStream is seeking an Email & Marketing Automation Manager to join our Demand Marketing team and will build emails and landing pages, audience segmentation, program testing, building reports and analyzing marketing programs, as well as working on back-end functionality of the Pardot marketing automation platform. This role includes supporting operational lead and data flow ensuring that CRM integration works as intended.
The Email & Marketing Automation Manager role will support HealthStream's internal team of product marketers in executing marketing campaigns with the goal of generating new sales qualified leads and increasing engagement with existing leads.
The ideal candidate has experience using Pardot and the Salesforce product suite.
The role reports to the Sr Manager, Email & Marketing Automation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for adhering to all HeathStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.
- Create emails, landing pages, and forms within Pardot, Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp or other systems
- Program, configure, test, deploy, monitor, track, and report on campaigns; including email (nurture, trigger, drip, ad hoc), content marketing, landing pages, forms, and lead scoring
- Execute with quality (QA checklist, proofreading, testing, approvals), maintain master email calendar (scheduling, cadence), and monitor distribution (verify successful sends and track lead delivery).
- Knowledge of email best practices, including: subject lines, messaging, creative, and segmentation
- Compliance with regulations, including: CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.
- Manage lists in Pardot, ensuring the list data is clean and contains available field values.
- Conduct A/B testing on marketing programs to maximize the effectiveness of tools and processes
- Monitor lead acceleration from Pardot to CRM (Salesforce) to ensure complete and accurate data flow
- Manage, organize, and prioritize multiple projects at different stages of completion and due dates
- Stay up-to-date with the latest B2B marketing automation practices and tactics and recommend optimal automation utilization where appropriate
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
What You Will Need to be Successful
Education, Experience and Knowledge Required
- Bachelor of Arts in Marketing, Communications or related field a minimum requirement.
- Proficient in marketing and sales automation platforms preferably Pardot and Salesforce
- At least 3 years Pardot experience and Pardot Admin Certified a plus.
- Strong marketing automation execution experience
- Salesforce product suite a plus
- Experience analyzing campaigns, data, and reports
- Previous experience working in a complex organization

- HTML knowledge/proficiency
- Interpersonal skills - exceptional verbal/written communication, listening, coaching, and presentation skills, and high attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with high quality, attention to detail, and exceptional teamwork and internal communication skills
