Electronic Systems Teaching Specialist :
- Teach and mentor students in safe and effective use of electronic prototyping equipment
- Deliver training programs for electronic and electro-mechanical design and fabrication tools
- Identify and resolve issues with electronic / electrical assemblies
- Assist students with PCB fabrication, circuit design, and electronics coursework
- Provide guidance on electronic devices and basic circuit implementation
- Supervise laboratory activities and maintain safety protocols
- Support undergraduate and graduate students in electrical engineering projects
Required Qualifications (Skills, Experience, Education, Certifications) :
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or related technical field
- Experience in electronics lab instruction or similar technical teaching role, a plus to have some experience managing an electronics laboratory or makerspace environment
- Previous experience mentoring students in academic or industrial settings
- Experience in electronics schematics debugging and testing electrical systems
- Ability to design, test, and implement low voltage AC/DC electrical and electronic systems
- Experience with Arduino and/or Raspberry Pi microcontroller development platforms
- Proficiency in PCB CAD design software
- Hands-on experience with soldering techniques and PCB fabrication processes
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and procedures
