Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Rate: Up to $30/hr

Position Summary:
It is the responsibility of the Electro-Mechanic /Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues for various manufacturing machinery.
Essential Functions:
• Monitors the preventative and corrective maintenance needs of various equipment types
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Completes all work orders including preventive maintenance work
• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production
• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
• Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines
• Repairs and replaces wiring, equipment and fixtures using various hand and power tools
• Performs troubleshooting on down equipment and maximize run time
• Communicates with the Maintenance Team Members, Maintenance Supervisor and/or Corporate Engineer to troubleshoot more complex issues and make recommendations for improvement
• Follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Foods (SQF) policies and maintain superior plant cleanliness
• Adheres to all safety practices including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, climb, talk and hear. The employee must frequently use hands and fingers to operate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, using proper bending and lifting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near and far vision, depth perception, color determination, hand/eye coordination, and hand/eye/foot coordination and the ability to adjust focus. Other required abilities include reading, calculation, measuring, planning, interpreting, explaining, compiling, and communicating verbally.
Preferred:
• Automation and electrical tech/ troubleshooting / Engineering.
• PLC, HMI, Servo Drive Modifications, design, troubleshooting, Updating and creating AutoCad schematics and panel layouts.
• Help on Design and Rebuilt Equipment.
• Electrical Troubleshooting and Electrical Installs.
• New electrical Drops and Panels Installs.
• Work and follow directions as well as time expectancy for projects. Work on electrical projects design and wiring.
• Work on Mechanical equipment.
• Work in highly automated facility, fast pace manufacturing environment, Engineering minded, Reliability, Quality and operations teams throughout all phases of support from start up projects to Production Support and possibly equipment decommissioning.
• Improvement Assets reliability.
• Strong Troubleshooter of complex Electro-Mechanical Equipment with the ability to quickly identify problems root cause, then lead the implementation of corrective and preventive action plans.

• General electrician skills; pipe bending, conduit threading, and panel installs.
Proficient on:
• Hydraulics
• Pneumatics
• Familiar with Schematics: European and American Type.
• Data Base Software, C+, Python backend and frontend framework, CMMS, Fiix are a plus. 3-phase electric motors Wiring, All types of Winding and Coils, grouping, etc.
• 480 AC/DC VFD Drives, Programming
• PLC, programming, able to write Programs, debug them and Troubleshooting.
Requirements:
5 plus years experience , troubleshooting, maintaining and improving equipment. Specialized in light automation controls, complex electrical problems down to static devices. AutoCAD drawings and schematic, controls, PID , servo drives, PLC, HMI programming (Factory-talk, In- touch, etc), SCADA (Wonder-ware). Electrical troubleshooting skills are very strong. Have experience in most all Rockwell automation software (Rslogix 5000 etc), Siemens, Omron, automation direct, and fabrication i.e. welding, cutting, and machining with lathes and mills. Skilled in preventative maintenance activities, inventory control, TPM Maintenance Environment and PM procedures; read and interpret blueprints and schematics; specialized knowledge of electrical and electronic systems. Low voltage to high voltage 480 3phase and 4-20mA calibration. Motor controls, automation, Robotics and in-depth knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
