Job Summary
Centerline is seeking an Electrician's Apprentice for an immediate start! The Apprentice's central task is to assist the Master Electrician in order to facilitate the installation, repair and maintenance of wireless and wireline telecommunications equipment, and will performs many different tasks. This position is open due to the growth of the business!

Responsibilities:General Duties:
- This may involve doing basic tasks such as handing the tools to the ME; as he/she progresses they will be given more independence in completing tasks
- Working indepently from the eletrician at times on eletrical tasks that require less skills or experience
Perform complete installations at wireless and wireline telecommunication facilities sites:
- Installation of all AC/DC circuits at wireless telecommunications facilities.
- Installation of conduit paths for both wireline and wireless telecommunications facilities.
- Installation of Fiber optic cabling to provide backhaul circuits for wireless telecommunications sites.
- Installation of AC/DC Generators for backup power at wireless telecommunications sites.
Perform maintenance:
- Testing malfunctioning equipment, identifying defects.
- Troubleshooting and repairing / replacement of defective parts
Wire Pulling:
- Installation of AC & DC circuits, fiber optic cables and CAT5 in conduit
What You Will Need
- 1 years experience working with an electrician in either residential or commerical jobs
- High School Diploma
- Telecommunications or Commercial electrical experience is a plus
Expected compensation includes $18 to $22 an hour and benefits including medical, vision, and dental benefits, and 401k retirement plan available for eligible employees. Compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as an individual’s education, training, experience, skills, geographic location, seniority, merit, and other factors that are job related and consistent with business need.
Work Environment
- This position is based out of the Raynham MA location but will travel with the Master Electrician to different job sites
- Travel to sites is required, sometimes in excess of 100 miles in company provided vehicle.
- Hours are Mon-Fri with expectation of 50-55 hours per week as a non-exempt employee.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company insurance policy.
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk and hear.
- The employee must regularly lift up to 51 pounds, be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices), carry and climb ladders, work from heights, work in small crawl spaces, balance, stoop, kneel.
- The employee is expected to work in all weather conditions, both in extreme cold and heat.
- The employee may drive for extended periods of time, including all weather and light conditions.
