Job Details
Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of electrical design and installation for our construction projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing and managing all electrical projects from inception to completion.
2. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists to design, plan, and implement electrical systems.
3. Ensuring all electrical installations comply with health and safety regulations.
4. Troubleshooting any issues that arise, and implementing effective solutions.
5. Managing project budgets and timelines, and ensuring all work is completed on schedule and within budget.
6. Supervising and directing the work of electricians and other team members.
7. Liaising with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure all project requirements are met.
8. Keeping up-to-date with the latest electrical engineering technologies and industry trends.
9. Preparing and presenting project reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in Project Management - Electrical Project Management preferred.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and high voltage installations.
4. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
5. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
8. Proficiency in using project management software.
9. A valid driver's license and the willingness to travel to various project sites.
10. A professional engineering (PE) license would be advantageous.
