Electrical Project Engineer/Senior Electrical Designer - ELITE PATH SOLUTIONS LLC

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Seeking a qualified Electrical Project Engineer (or Senior Designer) to join our team and work alongside other professional and talented engineers, designers, and support staff. RESPONSIBILITIES:

All facets of electrical design implementation of the following: lighting, lighting controls, normal power systems, standby/emergency power systems, one-line/riser diagrams, arc flash analysis, short-circuit studies, utility coordination, equipment selection and specifications, comprehensive electrical system design and layout, field investigation and observation, and construction administration.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, E.I.T./P.E. Registration (preferred).

6+ years of project experience (10+ years for non-degreed).

Demonstrated technical expertise for all major electrical systems, industry-related codes, standards, and guidelines.

Active participation in industry related organizations for technical and professional development.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word – Excel - Outlook), SKM (or EasyPower), Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit.

Must-Haves:

Experience

: 6+ years of electrical project experience (or 10+ years for non-degreed candidates).

Education

: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or significant experience in lieu of a degree.

Technical Expertise

: Strong background in designing electrical systems such as lighting, power systems, and emergency power, as well as conducting studies (arc flash, short-circuit).

Software Skills

: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and electrical analysis tools like SKM or EasyPower.

Certifications

: E.I.T. or P.E. registration (preferred but not required).
