We are seeking a talented and motivated Electrical / Controls Specialist to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.
An Experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Specialist with an emphasis on manufacturing processes. You will participate in the design and implementation of sophisticated electrical and control systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and modification of complex electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical software.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional project teams to develop intricate electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams in strict adherence to project requirements and industry standards.
- Having basic knowledge of the programming of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems using advanced software such as CODESYS, overseeing HMI development, SCADA integration, and utilizing advanced programming languages including ladder logic, structured text, and C/C++.
- Conducting comprehensive testing and troubleshooting of PLC programs to ensure optimal functionality and reliability in demanding industrial environments.
- Provide feedback and ideas during design reviews, offering technical guidance to support the seamless development of projects.
- Overseeing the factory acceptance test (FAT) and installation of complex electrical systems, ensuring strict compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical. SolidWorks is a plus.
- Experience understanding of PLC programming concepts, with experience in programming software such as CODESYS, Machine Expert, Crimson, and other relevant tools used in the development of sophisticated control systems.
- Knowledge of ladder logic, structured text programming languages, and a demonstrated ability to solve complex technical challenges with precision and ingenuity.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including NEC (National Electrical Code), IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), and IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission).
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and others.
