We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. The primary objective of this role is to prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are accounted for to support successful bidding and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project blueprints and specifications to create detailed estimates for electrical work.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and scope.
- Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates in a timely manner.
- Identify potential risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them during the estimation process.
- Research and source materials and labor costs to ensure estimates are competitive and accurate.
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for effective negotiations and cost analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations to clients.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and installation practices.
- Familiarity with commercial and residential electrical projects is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
