About the Job
This position is to work with our sister Company CALCULEX. CALCULEX is a leader in developing state-of-the-art equipment for the acquisition, recording, routing, and processing of instrumentation quality data, often supporting developmental and operational testing of military and commercial airborne systems. CALCULEX, Inc. is seeking printed circuit board developers with the following education, experience, and skills:
Education
BSEE with digital circuits track, MSEE welcomed
Experience
Minimum 3 years in circuit board development
Technical Skills
- Understanding of high-speed signal integrity issues
- Digital circuit power optimization for multiple output voltage designs
- Familiar with clock distribution & high-speed memory circuits
- Knowledge of schematic drawing and PCB layout viewing tools.
- Complex problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Solid troubleshooting and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of IPC standards, issues, and constraints
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Technical Tasks
- Evaluate and select components used in PCB circuit design
- Manage schematic developers and generate schematics
- Support mechanical engineering development of PCB product packaging
- Support & manage PCB route subcontractors
- Support prototype and 1st article PCB fabrication and assembly
- Support & manage prototype and 1st article PCB initial power-up testing
- Support system level 1st article multi-PCB circuit integration and testing
- Generate and support generation of circuit design documentation
- Support generation of marketing materials and user training documentation
- Support user-submitted circuit design problem resolution
CALCULEX is an aerospace systems, embedded firmware and PC software developer, and electronics manufacturer.
