Electrical Engineer at Entegee

Summary: Seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for design and implementation of electrical systems in industrial facilities, with a focus on low voltage and utility transmission.

Job Requirements:

• PE License from any state, with preference for those licensed in western states.

• 10-20 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in electrical design for industrial facilities; semiconductor facility experience a plus.

• Proficiency with low voltage systems (480v and below).

• Experience with utility transmission systems.

• Knowledgeable in lighting system design.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with NEC requirements including electrical clearances, circuit sizing, de-rating, motor circuit design, transformer feeder design, and separation of class 1/2/3 wiring.

• I&C design/PLC panel design background is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop electrical system designs for industrial projects.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

• Collaborate effectively with project teams to meet strategic objectives.

Additional Notes:

• Hybrid work schedule requiring residence in the Portland area.

• Position is a 9-month contract-to-direct opportunity.

• Work week is Monday to Friday on first shift.

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $65.00 to $75.00 per hour
