Job Details
We are seeking an Electrical Engineers to join our Team in Denver. Project Design Engineer to Project Manager Level opportunities. Successful Candidates will have Engineering Consulting Firm experience, well versed in electrical power, lighting, fire alarm, and building systems for institutional and commercial buildings, and have experience operating Revit and AutoCAD to draft and design these systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET Accredited College or University
- EIT or P.E. Licensed Desired, Not Required.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer designing power and lighting building systems on complex projects.
- Proficient in Revit Software, BIM, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
- Develop electrical designs from concept through completion of construction.
- Prepare engineering design calculations and layouts.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives.
- Coordinate electrical design requirements with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines.
Preferred, Not Required
- LEED Accredited Professional and previous experience participating in the LEED or other green rating system process
- Experience and interest in sustainable building design.
DUTIES:
- Performs 3D Revit and 2D CAD work. Performs involved and detailed design requirements.
- Completes project designs, drawings in 3D Revit and/or 2D CAD, site observations, specifications, calculations, equipment selection and application, correspondence, survey, code studies, and construction administration, as necessary.
- Senior level employees interface directly with clients and end users to understand and document expectations and lead the project during design and construction.
- Attention to detail, and high level of written and verbal communication skills.
