Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm celebrating over 33 years in the industry, is seeking a full-time Construction Electrical Inspector.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in the field of construction relating to electrical inspection, and resides in the area of Philadelphia, PA.
This is a full-time, On-site position.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Perform inspections on existing conditions, work being performed, and completed work for quality, completeness, and accuracy.
- Prepare written documentation, including daily work reports, controlled inspection reports, daily time and material records, and document unit price work.
- Review and mark plans and specifications as needed to ensure and track compliance with the work performed.
- Support the Project Manager/Resident Engineer with RFIs and Authorized Work Order (AWOs).
- Observe work conditions for compliance to applicable safety regulations.
- Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously; and follow through on projects to successful completion.
- Communicate with various parties on the progress of the work in a timely manner.
- Other related duties and tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Prior experience with electrical construction, engineering, or architecture is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or in a related field required.
- 3 or more years of experience in construction supervision/inspection.
- OSHA 10 at minimum (additional training will be provided, if required).
- Knowledge of PWD Field Inspector Guide and Green Master Specifications.is a plus but training will be provided, if required.
- A valid drivers license is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken).
