Gpac is partnered with a well-established Electrical Contractor dedicated to excellence and growth. They are currently seeking a talented Chief Electrical Estimator to join their expanding team. This role is crucial to their success, and the company values professionals who contribute to their projects' precision and efficiency.
Position Overview:
The Chief Electrical Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost, time, materials, labor, and equipment required for electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical construction and prior experience as an Electrical Estimator. Strong computer, leadership, and organizational skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities, are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed cost analyses and estimate the duration of electrical construction projects.
- Procure vendors and subcontractors, ensuring that all resources are effectively managed.
- Develop comprehensive project estimates, including costs for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Review and interpret project blueprints and specifications to prepare accurate estimates.
- Ensure that project deadlines are met and resources are allocated efficiently.
- Lead and manage the estimating team, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and related documentation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator, with a strong background in electrical construction.
- Proficiency in relevant estimating software and strong computer skills.
- Excellent leadership and organizational abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform detailed cost analyses and develop accurate project estimates.
- Knowledge of electrical construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to interpret project blueprints and specifications.
