About the Role:
You will specialize in the sales and application of audio, video, and control solutions within the Higher Education and K-12 markets. The ideal candidate will be based in the Eastern US region.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the education market within the region.
Drive revenue growth by fostering relationships with new and existing Education accounts.
Engage in proactive outreach, including warm and cold calls, to expand business opportunities through networking and relationship building.
Establish and nurture relationships with audio-video teams, decision-makers, and influencers at universities and school districts.
Conduct presentations, demonstrations, and attend Education trade shows to showcase solutions and build brand presence.
Collaborate with sales representatives, integrators, and consultants to identify and capitalize on opportunities in the Education sector.
Work with regional managers, partners, and integrators to develop strategic account plans and achieve revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Additional Responsibilities:
Gain proficiency in the platform and cultivate relationships with end-users in Higher Education and K-12.
Support regional teams in navigating AV projects and managing opportunities through the sales channel.
Collaborate with Field Sales Engineers on Bill of Materials (BOM), system design, and configurations.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape through market analysis.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
5+ years of experience in selling professional audio, video, and control solutions within Higher Education and K-12 markets.
Strong understanding of commercial audio, video, and control systems.
Familiarity with computer technologies, networked audio systems, and DSP technology.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, CRM tools, and Power BI.
Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and objectives.
Broad knowledge of AV technology and procurement processes within the Education sector.
Customer service-oriented with strong decision-making abilities.
Work Environment:
This is a remote position based in the Eastern US, requiring up to 75% travel. Occasional travel to company headquarters and national/international trade shows may be required.
