Salary: up to $135,000/ DOE
Our growing client in the CPG space, is looking for a full-time Ecommerce/ Digital Marketing Director! This role requires working onsite 4 days a week in their headquarters in Cicero.
Ecommerce/ Digital Marketing Director Responsibilities:
- Create the annual business plan as it relates to eCommerce strategy and digital marketing tactics.
- Manage P&L and the marketing budget as it relates to the functions managed.
- Develop objectives, strategies, and KPIs for product assortment, pricing, promotions, events, merchandising, 3P seller, and digital marketing tactics.
- Lead new item launches, the Seller Central workstreams, Amazon online marketplace strategy, and performance marketing.
- Manage outside agencies and be the key contact for workflows.
- Ensure that the external agencies and vendors are hitting the goals set forth and delivering work that is on brand and strategy.
- Oversee the transition from a 2PL model to 3PL model.
- Work with the VP of Marketing to oversee large website migration transition.
- Provide key stakeholder presentations, recaps, and reporting.
- Own B2B marketing tool strategy and identify gaps where new digital platforms can come into play.
- Oversee the PIM/DAM platform and manage one direct report whose main function is managing the platform.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teas such as finance, inventory management, sales, QA, operations, procurement, and other key stakeholders.
- Analyze reports and make changes to the strategy based on results.
- Dive into the work hands on, but also understand when to offload to agency partners.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or related field.
- 5+ years' experience in the CPG space.
- Experience with Amazon online marketplace and other online marketplaces.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience working in tools such as Pepperi and MailChimp.
