Job Summary



Join CulinArt Group- a member of Compass Group USA as an Executive Chef at Archbishop Riordan High School, a private school in San Francisco, CA. Lead an outstanding culinary team in a dynamic environment. This opportunity allows you to showcase your culinary expertise and make a significant impact on our community. Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations, you will coordinate menu creation and execution for various dining experiences, including breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and weekend brunches.


Key Responsibilities:



+ Coordinates cost controls and closely monitors expenditures for the account


+ Designs, builds, and flawlessly completes all menus


+ Purchases and manages inventory with proven efficiency


+ Successfully implements new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary teams


+ Ensures all safety and sanitation standards are met and maintained at the highest level


+ Leads, mentors, and collaborates with a team of ambitious culinary associates


+ Determines staffing needs and manages scheduling for base operations, with weekends and evenings as needed for events and oversight



Preferred Qualifications:



+ Culinary degree preferred


+ Three to five years of culinary management experience in a fast-paced production and catering environment


+ Prior experience in an education setting preferred


+ Proven experience in managing cost controls and expenditures


+ Outstanding skills in menu planning and inventory management


+ Aspire to learn and develop with an exceptional food service company


+ Ability to compete and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
