Job Description:Reporting to the Global Financial Digital Controls Director, the ERP Transformation Digital Controls Manager is responsible for leading the design and implementation of financial controls as part of our ongoing digital transformation program.
This position will coordinate activities across multiple projects, systems and workstreams to ensure that Mars Inc.
effectively leverages system automated controls (application and digital worker) alongside other control types and continuous controls monitoring, to deliver an effective and efficient control environment that improves financial risk management, stakeholder experience and auditability.
What are we looking for?8 - 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, or risk & control roles, with a focus for at least 2 years working within SAP centric transformation programs, specifically managing or leading cross-functional financial controls workstreamsDetailed business process and technical understanding of SAP ECC or S/4; SAP GRC AC/PC, Ariba, Blackline, PowerBI, Celonis preferredDemonstrated background in internal controls (across all business processes), SOX, or audit is required, alongside strong management, organization, communication, analytical and presentation skillsExperience with privately owned, global, decentralized organizationsExperience with Big 4 public accounting, CPG, and manufacturingExposure to automation tools such as BluePrism and UiPathExperience in human-centered design and/or design-thinking mindset and techniques would be helpfulWhat will be your key responsibilities?Understanding to-be business processes and identifying/defining control requirements for integration into design that leverage system functionality to drive automation and efficiencies / reduce manual effortDesign a sustainable, efficient and effective control environment that focuses on automationLead/deliver ongoing multi-project activities related to financial controls, including responsibility for associated outputs, attending/leading workshops, managing/coordinating resources – this is a hands-on role, requiring subject matter expertiseDrive collaboration across ERP Transformation projects, workstreams and resources, as well as Segment/MGS Controllers and Internal Audit, to ensure that end state control design is effective and aligns with corporate objectives while retaining consistency where possiblePerform ongoing tracking and reporting of automated control and CCM deployments across the various ERP Transformations, including identification of potential themes and trendsSupport efforts to fulfill any Internal / External Audit requirements, including pre-implementation reviews, related to financial controlsWhat can you expect from Mars?Work with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.Join a purpose driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.Best-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
