JOB SUMMARY
The ERP Administrator role provides internal support for our ERP application Syspro. The administrator oversees and manages the Syspro ERP system to ensure optimal performance. The position works with multiple departments, administering the specific ERP needs. Performs regular system maintenance, updates, and upgrades. Monitors system performance and troubleshoots issues promptly.

- Administer and maintain the ERP system, including user access, security settings, and data integrity.
- Configure and customize the ERP system to meet manufacturing-specific business requirements.
- Collaborate with IT, manufacturing, finance, and supply chain teams to test and implement new features and functionality.
- Provide technical support to end-users.
- Work closely with various departments, including production, inventory, quality control, finance, and supply chain to understand their needs and provide ERP solutions.
- Integrate and optimize manufacturing processes within the ERP.
- Create system documentation and end-user work instructions on how to perform tasks within the ERP system.
- Train end users on how to perform job functions within the ERP.
- Collaborate with the business to develop dashboards and reports.
- Provide daily production support as issues arise; conduct problem analysis as needed. Act as a point of escalation for moderate to difficult problems to our support partner company.
- Research new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and legal work environment, adhering to company policies.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Protect the confidentiality of the company’s information and products.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned or requested.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in related field.
Experience:
- Level I: 0-2 years of IT experience
- Level Il: 2-5 years of IT experience
- Level IIl: 5+ years of IT experience with at least 1 year leading or mentoring the work of assigned employees.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and hands-on technical experience with ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management.
- Results orientation and self-motivated.
- Willingness to drive and embrace change.
- Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience with implementing an ERP, MES and/or labor tracking tools.
- Analytical Skills: Skill and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources at the department level.
- Business Case Analysis: Complete knowledge of business case analysis to effectively perform functional responsibilities of the occupation.
- Information Technology Fluency: Complete ability in the use of personal computing hardware and software to enter project information, such as, statements of work, resource identification and usage, task status, cost estimating and tracking, etc. Complete knowledge of processes and tools to maintain, archive, and retrieve digital files. Complete ability in constructing/building and providing reports and presentation material as needed for assigned projects. Complete knowledge of identifying and gaining approval of testing of established applications to meet project requirements.
- Process Management Skills: Complete ability to determine the process to be used to accomplish goals, properly document processes, know how to organize people and activities, understand how to separate and combine tasks into efficient workflow, identify opportunities for synergy and integration, and simplify complex processes.
- Project Leadership: Complete ability to accept, direct, and perform responsibilities and work assigned tasks as a project team member in support of the overall project. Complete ability to lead and direct the activities and resources of assigned projects and support higher graded employees in large scale and complex projects.
- System Dev Lifecycle Method: Complete knowledge and understanding of phases of system development lifecycle including (requirements definition, system design, build/integrate, test and deployment).
Other:
- Preferred experience needed for IT Analyst III:
- Knowledge of Syspro products in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Unipoint or other Quality Management Systems (QMS) a plus
SUPERVISION PROVIDED TO THE POSITION
- Direction with necessary guidance is provided in terms of tasks and craftsmanship and measured based upon how well tasks have been completed. Receives detailed instructions as needed.
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY
Works under general supervision, and no instructions are needed for routine work. Independently determines and develops approaches to solutions.
PROBLEM SOLVING
- Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and in writing. Conversational German is a plus.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Adient Aerospace offers competitive wages and benefits to recognize employees for their work. The base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
Salary Range Transparency: $80,000 - $110,000 annually
