About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Emergency Room (ER) **Job Duration:** **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 **Experience:** Two years of Emergency Department experience preferred **License:** Current RN licensure **Certifications:** BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC **Must-Have:** - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - Rhythm Recognition or Basic Arrhythmia experience - Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) **Job Description:** - Prescribe and coordinate professional nursing care for assigned patients independently within the guidelines of accepted nursing practice, medical direction, and hospital policies, procedures, and standards. - Plan, direct, and evaluate total nursing care and functions in one unit on a particular shift, in accordance with established philosophy. - Relate effectively with other shifts for continuity of care and maintain satisfactory relations with other departments and nursing units. - Participate in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel. - Ability to read vital signs and provide injections/vaccinations. - Willingness to float without hesitation. - Work with a 12-bed unit and 3-4 other staff members on the unit. - Participate in a 4 to 6-week orientation before going onto the floor, including hands-on training. - Conduct oneself in accordance with the ANA standards, with additional specialty standards applying to all specialty nurses. - Required to follow any other instructions and perform any other duties requested by the supervisor. **Benefits Offered:** - Medical Insurance (2 options) - Flexible Spending Accounts (3 options) - Dental Insurance (3 options) - Vision Insurance - Company Paid Life Insurance (2 times your annual salary) - Optional Voluntary Supplement Employee Life Insurance (purchase up to 3 times your annual salary) - Optional Voluntary Supplement Spouse Life Insurance (purchase up to 100,000 spouse life) - Optional Voluntary Supplement Child Life Insurance (purchase up to 10,000 child life) - Short Term Disability - Company Paid Long Term Disability - Accident Insurance - Critical Illness Insurance - Identity Theft Insurance - 403b Retirement Plan - Tuition reimbursement up to 4000 per fiscal year for full-time employees **Weekend Description:** Weekend Rotation
