ENT APP, Parker - Portercare Adventist Health System

AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic and quality focused APP to join our growing team at AHMG ENT at Parker. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional clinical skills, a passion for patient care, and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of our practice. As a PA or NP with our team, you will diagnose and treat a wide range of ear, nose, and throat conditions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive medical services.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years experience REQUIRED
• Experience in either an ENT outpatient or inpatient setting is PREFERRED
• Experience assisting in an OR is PREFERRED
• Master's degree and certification from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Current Colorado Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license
• Current Basic Life Support - CPR Cert
• Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations regarding the delivery and billing of healthcare services

Responsibilities:

• Assures timely and accurate entries of medical histories, progress notes, and treatment recommendations in the patients' medical records.
• Assures all patient management documentation, including pharmaceutical modalities, is outlined in the patient's medical record.
• Practices within scope, as delineated by education and training including prescriptive privileges and in accordance with collaborating physician guidelines.
• Collaborates with the clinic Medical Assistants.
• Performs basic otolaryngologic procedures in clinic according to training and experience
• Assists physician providers in the operating room with surgical cases
• Refers patients for laboratory, radiology and other specialty care as needed for services that cannot be provided at the practice.
• Assures that adequate patient health records and confidentiality are maintained under HIPAA regulations.
• Participates with supervising physician in a periodic review of the patients' health records and treatment plans.
• Appropriately charges for services rendered according to Federal, State, and third-party payors laws, rules and regulations.
• Performs other clinical duties as required

About the Practice:

Our ENT specialists in Parker provide medical and surgical care to adult and pediatric patients with ear, nose, throat and hearing issues in the Parker and Denver metro areas. Our office features the latest audiology and otolaryngology equipment, allowing us to provide onsite testing and treatment.

As a full-service ENT practice, we have three MDs and three AuDs on site and offer comprehensive care to every family member, from newborns to seniors. Our services include general ENT medical and surgical care as well as comprehensive audiological services.
