- Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 7 years experience in related manufacturing engineering function, or 5 years of experience with a Master's Degree.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution preferred in the following disciplines: Mechanical, Material Science, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 3 years Quality and/or Engineering experience with strong - analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Working knowledge of quality systems and requirements and how they relate to business (i.e. AS9100, NADCAP).
- Demonstrated proficiency in Root Cause and Corrective Action analysis and suiting methodology.
- Demonstrated use of structured problem-solving methods (i.e. 8D)
- Experience with APQP and PPAP is desirable.
- Experience in the aerospace investment casting industry.
- Excellent PC skills, written and verbal communication skills.
- Must work well in a team environment and commit to continuous improvement.

This Process Owner Leader position will be located in our Plant 3, Whitehall Casting Operation and will be responsible for the leadership of process owners in a customer focused group.

- Lead initiatives to achieve product yield improvements, process variation reduction, technology advancement and achieve cost reduction goals related to the manufacture of product.
- Direct and manage the activities of value stream engineering team and process owners.
- Utilize formal process management principles.
- Develop actions to support the overall plant scrap reduction plan and manage the initiatives and actions to meet the scrap targets.
- Direct and participate in the conception, evaluation and implementation of cost improvement, product improvement and production problem solving activities.
- Establish professional working relationship with Engineering and Operations teams and promote engineering team communication regarding product status and issues.
- Responsible for creating an environment of engagement and fostering development of the value stream engineering team.
- Manage training development strategies for direct reports.
- Interface with business unit process owners to improve state of the art in our manufacturing processes.
