About the Job
Premier NYC employment law firm in the Financial District is seeking an experienced Associate or Senior Associate Attorney with Employment Litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience on the Plaintiff or Defense side doing employment litigation work and will want a long-term partnership track and growth within this particular legal area. Salary depends on experience. This is a hybrid remote position with Monday - Thursday in office full-time, Fridays remote, and some flex dependent on candidate. Company offers health insurance with company contribution, 401(k) with 4% match, paid vacation (flexible based on candidate experience level), paid sick/personal time, paid holidays, and other perks.
Responsibilities:
-Litigate employment-related cases
-Ability to handle complex cases
-Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions
-Conduct legal research
-Make court appearances in courts in NYC and surrounding area
-Provide exemplary legal counsel and representation
-Delegate casework to legal support staffQualifications:
-NYS bar admission
-3+ years of employment litigation (plaintiff or defense)
-Ability to be on-site in NYC Financial District office
-Experience with any or all of the following statutes is highly preferred: Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, The New York State Human Rights Law, The New York City Human Rights Law, and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)Qualifications:
-NYS bar admission
-3+ years of employment litigation (plaintiff or defense)
-Ability to be on-site in NYC Financial District office
-Experience with any or all of the following statutes is highly preferred: Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, The New York State Human Rights Law, The New York City Human Rights Law, and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
