- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, mechatronics from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience designing electrical control systems for machinery.
- Previous electrical co-op, internship experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years' experience, in machine design, system integration, or a manufacturing environment.
- PLC programming experience
- HMI programming experience
- Experience with Allen Bradley Logix PLC & Studio 5000
- Experience with Scada\HMI systems such as Ignition, Wonderware, LabVIEW, or Panelview
- Knowledge of Electrical distribution systems for voltages below 600V
- Proficient user of AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical and/or Solidworks Electrical
- Experience with industrial robots such as Motoman or Fanuc
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E and NFPA 79

The person in this position will be part of a team that designs, builds, and commissions machine control systems for custom industrial equipment. Equipment designed and built includes automation equipment, robotic cells, and other innovative equipment required to support production and new process development. The person in this position is also responsible for communicating with customers, maintaining budgets and schedules, ensuring compliance with applicable safety codes.
Travel will be required estimated at (0-25%) to support projects at our production facilities located within the USA and abroad.
