Work Schedule: 4 Days On-Site, 1 Day Remote
Compensation: $60 - $90 per hour, depending on experience and length of travel to client sites

Position Overview
Our client, a growing company in the Houston Metro Area, is seeking an FP&A Consultant to provide financial planning and analysis expertise. This role will involve collaborating closely with clients to deliver insights on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. The FP&A Consultant will be responsible for managing financial models, conducting variance analysis, and supporting decision-making. The candidate will work on-site 4 days a week and may need to travel to client sites based on project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) functions, including managing budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support strategic decision-making and performance analysis.
- Conduct variance analysis, highlighting key financial trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial planning with operational goals.
- Provide data-driven insights to senior leadership, supporting strategic business decisions.
- Assist in managing the capital allocation process, conducting ROI analysis for key investments.
- Prepare and present financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuously improve FP&A processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an FP&A Consultant or senior financial analyst.
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strong experience providing strategic financial insights to support executive-level decision-making.
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
Compensation
- Hourly rate ranging from $60 to $90 per hour, depending on experience.
