Position Overview
The Document Control Associate performs various projects and duties supporting the document issuing process. This includes creating Master Manufacturing Record (MMR) and Batch Production Record (BPR), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), validation summaries, label compliance review, release of raw materials, work in process, finished goods, record retention and maintenance of hard copy and electronic documents.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:
The essential functions of this position include, but are not necessarily limited to, those specifically identified in this description. The Company may, at its sole discretion, add to, change, or expand the essential or marginal functions of this position.
· Issue and review BPR for accuracy and consistency against good documentation practices
· Document all new and revised product label proofs, and route them for final approval
· Implement approved document changes
· Implement approved document deviations
· Track and maintain the training of employees
· Document the release of raw materials and finished products upon review of all necessary documentation
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Prior manufacturing experience preferred
· Previous experience in training and/or teaching of others preferred
