Responsible for the planning, directing, and coordination of Community Services, including Assertive Community Treatment, Homeless Services, and Re-Entry Programs as well as applicable grant activities. Identify program needs and assist in the development of relevant programs. Responsible for l program quality, services, client satisfaction, and various community grants.

Responsible for the planning, directing, and coordination of Community Services, including Assertive Community Treatment, Homeless Services, and Re-Entry Programs as well as applicable grant activities. Identify program needs and assist in the development of relevant programs. Responsible for l program quality, services, client satisfaction, and various community grants.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and organize the components of ACT program to meet the needs of PEP clients.
- Hire, orient and supervise staff; staff development; conduct performance evaluations; and monitor use of time. Must be able to discuss demonstrated success in developing managers, -Oversee progressive disciplinary actions as necessary
- Monitor programs for compliance with Medical Assistance, COMAR, Baltimore Mental Health Systems, Anne Arundel County Mental Health Agency, Prince George’s County Department of Family Services/Mental Health Authority Division, American Psychiatric Services and other regulatory and/or funding sources.
- Provide quality oversight in the area of client documentation.
- Monitor internal reports such as intake, discharge, emergency room visits, hospitalizations, incidents, ITP’s, ADA, and others for management, supervision and staff training purposes. -
- Monitor overall clinical quality of programs, including crises incidents.
- Develop, monitor and maintain budgets for all assigned program components; monitor billing activities, grant activities, and related documentation.
- Perform quality improvement activities as required by the Quality Improvement Program and suggest modifications to the plan as necessary.
- Investigate opportunities for program improvement and new program development, in collaboration with other organizations, and possible funding strategies.
- Serve as a senior manager of the agency, assuming joint responsibility for the overall good of the agency; suggest agency improvements as necessary; attend all senior management meetings and functions; serve on committees as needed.
- Conduct outreach efforts to develop job opportunities for consumers and develop business relationships with companies in the State of Maryland.
- Represent the agency in relevant external meetings and committees
- Become an expert of the ACT philosophy and follow and maintain high fidelity to the ACT Model of Care.
- Education: Masters degree in Social Work and Counseling preferred. Eight or more years of related experience, including program management and staff supervision.. One to two years’ supervisory experience preferred.
- Skill Requirement: Four to six months OJT required for efficient job performance.
- Job Requirements: Must possess excellent written and organizational skills. Must have a valid drivers license. Must have a clean driving record. Must have the ability to work independently with minimum supervision
