JOB DESCRIPTION
As a District Manager at Terrabis, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our retail operations across multiple locations. You will be responsible for overseeing the performance, development, and profitability of your assigned district, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.Travel will be required to the assigned stores in Plainfield IL, Dixon IL, Woodstock IL, and any future locations within the region. This role will involve 3-4 days of on-site visits to these stores, with 1-2 days of remote work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership and Team Development:
- Provide inspirational leadership to store managers and staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to maximize their potential and drive performance improvement.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance individual and team performance.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement operational best practices to optimize efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels, sales trends, and other key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
Customer Experience:
- Champion a customer-centric approach by promoting a welcoming and informative environment for all patrons.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner, striving to exceed expectations.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop strategies that enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
Financial Management:
- Develop and execute district-level budgets and forecasts, managing expenses and resource allocation effectively.
- Analyze sales data and financial reports to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas of improvement.
- Implement sales strategies and promotional activities to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
Community Engagement:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local communities, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Represent Terrabis at community events, industry conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Identify opportunities for community partnerships, sponsorships, and outreach initiatives that align with company values and objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of multi unit exp required.
- Proven experience in retail management, with a minimum of [X] years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and customer service principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Knowledge of cannabis regulations and industry trends (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software.
