Dispatcher at Accentuate Staffing

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a building supply distributor in the Raleigh area recruit for a Dispatcher to join their logistics team. This is a direct hire opportunity working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Duties

• Utilize logistics software to efficiently match loads with available trucks and drivers, ensuring materials are tracked and deliveries are on schedule.
• Coordinate and assign delivery orders to drivers and yard staff with a focus on accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Optimize delivery routes by consolidating orders to maximize fleet utilization and reduce expenses.
• Confirm delivery locations to ensure accurate and timely job site arrivals.
• Collaborate with drivers, sales teams, and yard staff to quickly resolve any delivery-related issues.
• Ensure all required paperwork is prepared and accompanies each delivery before dispatch.
• Respond to driver questions and address any delivery challenges as they arise.
• Support additional operational tasks as needed to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.

Skills

• 1+ year dispatcher experience, preferably in a lumber yard or building supply environment
• Must have experience a valid driver's license and clean MVR
• Candidate must be comfortable operating a forklift
• Must have strong communication skills
• Must be computer savvy
• Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug test
