The Ramaz School is seeking awarm, passionate and collaborative full-time Director of our Early Childhood Center(ECC) for the 2025-2026 school year.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead ourEarly Childhood Center team, reporting to and working with the Head of Nursery – Eighth Grade (N-8) to help shape and actualize the ECC’s educational vision and direction.
- Build a learning environment that fosters positive relationships among children, teachers, parents, faculty and staff.
- Ensure curriculum attends to developmental goals for students as well as readiness skills for each subsequent year.
- Overseerecruitment and onboarding of prospective teachers and staff.
- Oversee and support faculty and staff in all areas of the classroom, including curriculum implementation.
- Supervise,coordinate, observe, mentor, and support the growth of teachers.
- Design and implement professional development opportunities for faculty.
- Maintain systems to support program operations, including overseeing scheduling, use of physical spaces, events, and budgeting
- Ensurecompliance with the most current New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene rules and regulations.
- Serve as an integral member of the educational leadership team, fostering strategic alignment across school divisions and contributing to strengthening the institution as a whole.
- Actively engage in community outreach and participate in the broader development of programming to enhance family involvement and elevate the school’s profile.
- Foster and maintain positive, supportive, and transparent relationships with ECC families, including home-school communication.
- Collaboratewith parent council to plan events and workshops throughout the school year.
- Oversee, coordinate, develop, and implement events, programs, and Jewish milestone celebrations.
- Represent the ECC at admissions, recruiting, and other events that promote and market the school.
- Support the Head of N-8 and admissions team to manage the admissions process.
- Work with the Ramaz Admissions team to help market and grow the program, give tours, and oversee enrollment process.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years teaching early childhood.
- Relevant supervisory experience(preferred).
- Master’s degree in early childhood education or currently enrolled in a
