Fulltime Director of Social Services position available at Skilled Nursing Facility in Boston, MA
To join this team please have the following requirements:
- COVID Vaccination Required
- Bachelor’s degree required. A Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
- LSW licensure required; LCSW or LICSW strongly preferred.
- BSW or LSW for the needed experience required.
- Minimum five (5) years' experience as a social worker in a healthcare-related setting. Experience within a nursing home or rehabilitation center is strongly preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable of the rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern nursing care facilities.
- Strong, but comforting, communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the public.
