Director of Relocation - National Community Renaissance

National Community Renaissance is committed to first class management of our properties which transforms their neighborhoods and the lives of our residents. The Director of Relocation will provide relocation management services to residents to ensure seamless relocation service is provided under the supervision of the Senior Vice President of Relocation and Property Management. This position will work with and support the needs of residents in support of their relocation programs and act as a liaison to Property Management and Development. The Director of Relocation will provide support and back-up to team and management as requested.
The Director of Relocation reports to the Senior Vice President of Relocation and Property Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Relocation Department
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training all require personnel
- Work with SVP of Relocation and Property Management and PM Financial Analyst to maintain a monthly P&L for all third-party projects and separate P & L for all internal projects
- Secure a steady stream of third-party relocation opportunities
- Make sure all internally managed projects are billed timely and accurately
- Relocation plans that comply with all state and federal legal requirements
- Interacting with residents, management, development, and construction
- Submit relocation project analysis and determine displacees qualifications for benefits and required services
- Assistingdisplaceesinfindingsuitablereplacementresidentialproperties
- Identifying and helping displacees with moving costs
- Advising residential and business displacees and processing their claims
- Maintaining meticulous records that comply with all applicable federal, state and local reporting requirements
- Planning and implementing the smooth relocation of residences displaced by rehabilitation projects
- Ensuring impacted residents are aware of their rights and benefits during the process
- Must assume proactive behavior and measures to properly represent National Community Renaissance and build relationships in the community.

- Must stay current on all relocation projects and check in with each lead on
- Act as liaison between Property Management and external parties
- Act as a support for the Property Management Department personnel including Regional Managers
- Community Relations - manage ongoing positive relationships with all City staff and other local representatives and social service providers
- Identify open Relocation RFP's, assess qualifications, and submit completed RFP's.
- Must attend Company sponsored events that relate to the development of the team, which, from time to time, may include overnight stays at locations away from the employee's home.
- Continuing education which includes relevant compliance and relocation trainings, seminars, and certification programs while managing all related expenses to budget, and with prior approval of the VP of Relocation and Property Management.

- Bilingual
- Capable to work remotely when necessary while assigned to a specific
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Minimum of a high school education or
- Minimum two to five years working in a position with comparable
- Minimum two years working with affordable housing programs and in a customer service
