Director of Preconstruction Details:

• Shift: M-TH 7:30 am - 4:30 pm and Fri 7:30 am - 2:30 pm
• Salary Range: $120,000 - $170,000
• Location: West Salem, WI 54669

As the Director of Preconstruction, you will oversee planning, design, engineering, estimating, and business development efforts to ensure every project starts smoothly and successfully. What You'll Do:

• Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute company vision and business strategies.
• Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the Preconstruction team to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
• Client Relations: Establish and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded.
• Project Oversight: Manage the complete preconstruction process, from high-level budgeting and design reviews to constructability analysis and value engineering.
• Deliverables and Presentations: Lead the preparation of proposals and progress estimates, delivering persuasive presentations to clients.
• Seamless Transitions: Oversee the smooth handoff of projects from preconstruction to construction operations.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: A minimum of 10+ years in preconstruction with a commercial general contractor or construction management firm is preferred.
• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Skills: Exceptional leadership, organizational, and relationship-building abilities, with a proven track record in client engagement and business development. Proficiency in technical and preconstruction processes is a must.
• Attributes: A resourceful, detail-oriented leader who thrives on innovation and teamwork.

• Environment: Office-based with collaboration across multiple teams and departments.
