About You – Our Ideal Director of Nursing (DON) Candidate:
- Experience: 2-5 years as a DON or ADON in long-term care (LTC) preferred.
- Credentials: Active RN license
- Leadership: Strong communicator with exceptional interpersonal and team-building skills.
Your Role as Director of Nursing (DON):
- Set and uphold high standards of nursing care.
- Inspire and manage a talented nursing team through training, evaluation, and mentorship.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Strategically manage departmental budgets for effective resource allocation.
- Foster a welcoming and supportive environment for residents and staff.
