Director of Maintenance

United Hebrew of New Rochelle is seeking a full-time Director of Maintenance to join our dedicated leadership team at our skilled Nursing Facility.

This hands-on leadership role is responsible overall management and daily supervision of operations and maintenance of the facility. In this key position as a member of the Facility Leadership Team (FLT), your daily activities will include completing preventative maintenance tasks within the documented timeline, initiating work orders, completing projects, following up on outstanding items and maintaining records. You will also be supervising a team of three. This position offers a wide variety of problem solving and management for a self- motivated individual.

Seeking candidates with 5+ years of experience as a supervisor or director of maintenance/facilities , preferably in a hospital or other healthcare facility. Degree in Engineering or a related field, or extensive prior experience as a skilled Journeyman in a trade, strong problem-solving skills and working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and general maintenance. Appropriate certifications strongly preferred (i.e. boiler, fire, etc).
