Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Director of Food and Beverage to lead and elevate the dining experience at a premier downtown Tampa hotel. This role is integral to enhancing our reputation for exceptional service and outstanding dining options, situated along the picturesque Tampa Riverwalk. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of innovative leadership, operational excellence, and a passion for culinary perfection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operation of all food and beverage units within the hotel to ensure the delivery of exceptional guest service and compliance with all food and beverage regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the profitability and efficiency of F&B operations, including cost control, resource allocation, and innovative menu development.
• Collaborate with the executive chef and culinary team to create compelling and seasonally appropriate menus that align with the hotel’s brand and guest expectations.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure all team members are proficient in best practices and service standards.
• Maintain a strong presence during key hotel events and operational hours to ensure seamless execution of services.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for all F&B outlets to achieve fiscal objectives.
• Liaise with marketing and sales teams to promote F&B offerings, both internally to guests and in broader promotional efforts.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards throughout all F&B operations.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and motivating work environment that attracts, retains, and develops top talent.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in food and beverage operations within a high-volume, upscale hotel or resort environment.
• Proven track record of financial management and creating operational efficiencies.
• Strong leadership skills with an emphasis on staff development and team building.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to navigate a diverse work environment and guest base.
• In-depth knowledge of the latest industry trends and a clear understanding of all regulatory and compliance requirements.
