Role Summary
The Director of Finance at GC Realty & Development plays a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations and ensuring the alignment of financial strategies with the company's broader business objectives. This position is responsible for managing all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance, while ensuring the accuracy of financial data and processes. The Director of Finance collaborates closely with executive leadership to provide insights on long-term financial planning, operational efficiency, and profitability. Additionally, the Director leads the finance team, ensuring that both corporate and property management accounting are handled efficiently and in compliance with industry standards. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, detailed financial oversight, and a deep understanding of how operational decisions impact financial performance.
What You Will Get
- Salary - $85,000.00-$120,000.00(USD)
- Annual Performance Bonus - Up to 10% of wages(Effective 2025 calendar year)

What You Must Bring
- Particular & Detail Oriented - Rarely makes unforced errors and is willing to put in the extra effort to ensure accuracy.
- Operational and Financial Integration - Understands how the day-to-day operations of the business directly impact financial performance, and vice versa.
- Strategic Planning - Develops strategic plans and initiatives that align with both short-term and long-term organizational goals.
- Communication- Articulates thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and effectively across all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.
- Accounting Intelligence - Possesses a comprehensive understanding of best practices in finance and accounting.
- Construction Accounting - Demonstrates successful experience with Work In Progress (WIP) accounting for projects exceeding $100K.
- Property Management Accounting - Deep understanding of the distinctions between trust accounting and corporate accounting.
- Education - Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management/Administration
- Qualifications - Proficiency in Quickbooks and Appfolio (required)
- Fast Pace - Our management operations turns out 5,000-7,000 invoices per month between maintenance and property management services that you must be able to understand the process to manage your team to stay on top of the flow.
