Job Details
- Oversee, direct, and organize the work of the finance team.
- Develop and implement a robust financial strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets.
- Prepare and present annual budgets, reports, updates, and financial trends to the executive team, board members, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate the preparation of the company’s annual report of actual revenues, transfers, and expenses.
- Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies.
- Manage financial controls and accounting procedures.
- Ensure full transparency over the financial performance of the company.
- Provide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costs.
- Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner.
- Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained.
- Support the CEO with the preparation of monthly and annual financial plans.
- Maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payments.
- Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
- CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus.
- Proven experience of 5+ years in a similar role within the Tech Services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
- Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
- An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated experience with Year End Close, Annual Budget, Cash Flow, Financial Reporting, Financial Management, Fixed Assets, Annual Audits, Financial Forecasting.
- Manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and with executive leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
