Our client in the Healthcare space is looking for a Director of FP&A to join their team in Jupiter on a hybrid schedule with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
The Operational Director of FP&A will play a key role in enhancing operational excellence through data-driven insights and financial analysis, combining financial expertise with a deep understanding of operational processes and a commitment to continuous improvement.

The Operational Director of FP&A will play a key role in enhancing operational excellence through data-driven insights and financial analysis, combining financial expertise with a deep understanding of operational processes and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- This role is essential in supporting the organization’s strategic objectives by maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs.
- The manager will work closely with departments across the organization, particularly Operations, Finance, Clinical, and IT, to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and boost overall performance.
- Responsibilities include developing and maintaining comprehensive financial plans and projections, creating forecasts for future revenues, expenses, and capital needs, and revising them based on actual performance and changing business conditions.
- Manages the annual budgeting process, consolidating inputs, and preparing budget reports.
- Conducts scenario analysis to evaluate the impact of various business strategies or market conditions.
- Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Identifies financial risks and offers recommendations for mitigation.
- Supports cost control by analyzing cost drivers and suggesting cost-saving initiatives, conducting cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects or investments.
- Works with stakeholders from various departments to align operational goals with financial objectives.
- Communicates financial information and insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders, gathering information and aligning financial plans with organizational goals.
- Maintains accuracy and consistency in financial data for analysis and reporting.
- Enhances financial systems and tools.
- Analyzes large datasets to extract actionable insights for operational improvements.
- Prepares reports for senior management with findings, recommendations, and progress on key initiatives.
- Collects and manages financial data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness, conducting trend analyses to evaluate long-term performance and financial stability.
- Compares actual results to budgeted figures, identifies variances, and provides explanations, offering insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and initiatives.
- Utilizes business intelligence tools and dashboards to improve financial reporting and analysis, using models to evaluate different scenarios.
- Identifies opportunities for automation and streamlined workflows.
- Implements improvements in financial planning and reporting to boost efficiency and accuracy.
- Leads continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Works closely with Operations managers to address challenges and develop solutions that drive financial and operational success.
- Develops key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational processes, monitoring and reporting on performance trends.
- Generates custom reports and analyses to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Conducts special financial analyses as needed.
- Supervises team members, providing coaching, training, and professional development.
- Sets and tracks team and departmental KPIs and goals, holding the team accountable for results.
