Job Description: | The University of Florida's School of Physician Assistant Studies (UFSPAS) is excited to invite applications for a core faculty member who will serve as the UFSPAS Director of Clinical Education. This position will be a full-time, non-tenured faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor (contingent on experience). This key leadership role is integral to the success of our PA program, focusing on the development and management of clinical education components. As the Director of Clinical Education, you will work closely with PA faculty, staff, preceptors, and clinical sites to provide a seamless and enriching clinical education experience for our students. Minimum Requirements: | Master’s degree from an ARC-PA accredited PA program (or related medical discipline, i.e., MD or DO). Current certification by the NCCPA (for PA applicants) and FL State licensure (or eligibility for licensure). If applicant is not a current Florida resident, a valid medical license in the state of current residence is required. MD and DO applicants must hold specialty board certification in their area of instruction, in accordance with accreditation guidelines for supervising PA students. Minimum of 3 years experience as a full-time clinician, as the role includes a clinical practice component. |
