Essential Functions
The Director of Cleared Cloud will oversee the implementation lifecycle of Microsoft Azure Secret and Top-Secret product solutions, ensuring alignment with Defense Industrial Base (DIB) compliance and regulatory standards. Reporting to the VP of Cleared Delivery, this leader will play a pivotal role in translating requirements into actionable deployment plans, driving the secure delivery of classified cloud solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and DIB stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into strategic deployment plans.
- Implementation Planning & Execution: Lead the design, configuration, and rollout of Azure Secret and Top-Secret solutions, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Security, and Product Teams, incorporating input from Sales and Marketing to ensure product readiness and alignment.
- Regulatory Compliance & Alignment: Ensure product compliance with cybersecurity and classification standards such as NISPOM (32 CFR 117), ISLs, and related government policies throughout the deployment process.
- Client Collaboration & Project Oversight: Serve as the primary implementation contact for clients, guiding them through integration and addressing technical or regulatory needs.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Develop and maintain thorough product documentation and training resources to support client and internal teams in compliance and operational excellence.
- Reporting & Status Updates: Provide regular reports to senior leadership on implementation progress, milestones, and adjustments to deployment strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and adopt best practices in classified product implementation, promoting scalability and security in solution delivery.
- Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as directed by the organization.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: BS degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
- Clearance: U.S. citizen with an active Top-Secret clearance, eligible for SCI.
- Product & Platform Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Office 365 (Commercial, GCC, GCC High) and Azure (Commercial and Government), with insights on mapping these platforms to DIB cybersecurity requirements (NIST 800-171, CMMC, ITAR) and classified information regulations (NISPOM, SEAD).
- Cybersecurity & Compliance Expertise: Demonstrated experience with standards like NIST 800-171, CMMC, DFARS 7012, and classified system requirements.
- Project Leadership & Implementation Skills: Proven experience in leading end-to-end cloud solution deployments with a strong focus on timelines, compliance, and customer success.
- Communication & Leadership Abilities: Strong communication, project management, and cross-functional leadership skills to effectively drive product readiness and client collaboration.
- Tool Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel up to 20% as required.
Work Conditions
Work is typically performed in an office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. The person in this position may need to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. May occasionally need to position self to maintain computers, including under the desks and in the server closet. The person in this position frequently communicates with employees and clients. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these solutions.
