Aspen Hills Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, part of the Ocean Healthcare Network, is seeking an experienced Director of Business Development with Hospital Based Liaison experience for this uniquely combined position.
Aspen Hills post-acute care center located in Pemberton New Jersey, has an opportunity to join one of the most respected post-acute provider organizations in the industry. This unique position combines directing the Business Development efforts of the Center, as well as covering a number of hospital accounts within the market. This highly visitable position requires the sharp mind of an experienced skilled nursing / post-acute business development professional with those of a clinically experienced liaison or healthcare professional with hospital referral review experience.
This exciting position will direct and manage the overall business development plan for the Center and be directly responsible for its execution and the coordination with other team members as well as the entire Ocean Healthcare Network. This dynamic and vital position will target hospital accounts / relationships, physician, community base professionals and seniors, and other key referral sources. In addition, this position will also manage a small number of hospital accounts and the referral flow from referring hospitals, support, maintain, and further develop the relationships with the hospital-based teams. This includes Social Work, Case Management, Physicians, Population Health, ACO / BPCI Teams, and other hospital stakeholders.
This key position collaborates with the Center’s Admissions, Nursing, and administrative team members to effectively review and admit patients and support increased census and quality mix volume. Strong verbal and written communication skills are vital, as well as an ability to foster and maintain strong business and referral relationships.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing hospital referrals and relationships. Although not required, a nursing degree (RN / LPN) is favorable, however a strong clinical knowledge and understanding of how to evaluate a patient’s clinical needs and convert the referral into admission is required. Healthcare experience in skilled nursing, hospital, and/or related services is also required.
