About the Job
The Director of YRCI University (YRCI-U) will lead our YRCI U service area that serves internal and external clients. For our internal clients, YRCI U designs and delivers strategic training initiatives that expands YRCI’s capacity to deliver federal human capital and other programs. For our external clients, YRCI U designs and delivers training solutions that supports federal human capital initiatives that enable mission success.
Reporting to the VP of Human Resources (HR) Shared Services & Training, this role collaborates with YRCI internal service area leads and delivery teams to drive continuous growth and innovation.
The Director of YRCI University (YRCI-U) spearheads our strategic training initiatives, focusing on scaling up YRCI-U's capacity to deliver comprehensive training programs in federal human capital to the benefit of YRCI employees and the greater federal human capital community.
The Director of YRCI U supports all product and training needs of the YRCI Digital Solutions team and their clients.

YRCI-U offers a robust catalogue of specialized training programs designed to address expertise gaps in Federal Human Capital and related fields. Developed by seasoned subject matter experts, our courses cover a range of topics, including foundational Federal Staffing Fundamentals, advanced End-to-End Federal HR, federal acquisition, emotional intelligence, leadership, and more. With a modern, digital-first approach, we provide flexible learning experiences through virtual instructor-led training (VILT) and on-demand content, ensuring immediate applicability of skills in real-world scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute growth strategies for YRCI-U that align with overall business objectives, scaling operations to reach larger participant groups.
- Partnership Development: Build and strengthen relationships with universities to create impactful training programs across various disciplines, establishing a YRCI University HUB that enhances program quality and expands our educational reach.
- Program and Revenue Management: Oversee financial and operational aspects of training programs, driving initiatives to triple revenue through innovative training solutions and business development efforts and subscriptions.
- Digital Learning Development: Lead the creation of online courses and blended learning solutions, collaborating with the Digital Solutions team.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high training standards, regularly updating curricula to incorporate the latest educational technologies and adult learning principles.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Client Development, Contracting, and Project Management teams to integrate training services seamlessly.
- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional educational services.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary contact for all stakeholders, ensuring a white-glove customer experience.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years in leadership roles within learning management or educational program development, preferably in the Federal space.
- Proven experience with training programs and digital learning platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Marketing, HR, or a related field.
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting to senior-level stakeholders.
- Visionary leadership with a track record of driving innovation and complex learning objectives in Federal Government contexts.
- Proven leader in growing training programs for Federal Clients, with specific sales targets and a track record of tripling revenue.
- Experience collaborating with universities to develop HR and cross-disciplinary training programs that meet market needs.
- Strong skills in marketing, customer relationship management, and program oversight.
- Motivate teams to achieve sales goals and identify new business opportunities.
- Effective conflict resolution and proactive communication skills.
