Amprius Technologies develops, designs, and manufactures high-performance lithium-ion battery cells for advanced applications. Amprius invented and perfected a 100% silicon anode that enables the highest energy density battery cell commercially available in the industry.
Summary
We are seeking adynamic, high-energy, high-impact Sales Director, Strategic Accounts, with a strong track record of achieving results individually and through others. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing Amprius Technologies’ market share and sales opportunities by promoting product growth and providing development, management, and account direction for assigned accounts. The position is accountable for new and emerging strategic business creation and building account relationships at all organizational levels.
Job Responsibilities
- This is an on-site role at our office in Fremont, CA.
- Formulates and implements a sales strategy with an aggressive growth mindset to meet and exceed revenue targets as planned
- Establishes and tactically implements market penetration plans.
- Manages and grows existing relationships with assigned accounts
- Responsible for evaluating and identifying opportunities and sales potential. Develops and implement a plan for securing new accounts
- Develops and maintains business contacts and relationships
- Facilitates pricing coordination for assigned accounts.
- Reviews, maintains and assures effective implementation and execution of customer contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Vendor Managed Inventories (VMIs), etc.
- Coordinate with internal teams in support of customer requirements and engagement
- Periodically interact with production and R&D teams to enable product development based on knowledge of market trends
- Maintain rolling forecasts for up to 5 years and update data per market demands and fluctuations
Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities
- Represent Amprius at tradeshows and other industry events as-needed
- Performs other job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelors in Engineering
- 8+ years of experience with a successful track record in Battery Industry or another related field.
- Experience interfacing with OEMs and/or Tier-One customers/suppliers.
- Experience in Manufacturing sales.
- Demonstrated ability to execute strategies
- Proven track record in setting and exceeding sales revenue
- Demonstrated success in managing an extensive product portfolio
- Strong ability and flexibility to successfully work among fast-paced cross-functional teams.
- Superior communication, presentation, and influencing skills at all organizational levels
- Advanced negotiation skills and ability to close deals
- Advanced knowledge and experience with sales analytics
Travel
- Frequent domestic and infrequent international travel.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Onsite in Fremont, CA
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Lift and move up to 25 pounds at a time.
Benefits
- Comprehensive compensation package includes base salary + generous RSUs. Salary range for this role is $155,000- $185,000 (DOE)
