+ This role is based on-site at our Ridgefield, CT location with hybrid flexibility of 2-3 days per week on-site.

The Director Marketing, Future Market Development will lead the market development strategy, content, and cross functional implementation of the strategic framework for screening and diagnosis of diseases. The incumbent is recognized as an expert for the assigned asset and corresponding market development activities across all stakeholders and therefore, provides leadership, mentoring and guidance to cross functional teams and contributes to the overall asset strategy. This role is responsible for communications and promotion focused on market development.
Duties & Responsibilities
+ Responsible for leading the market development strategy and all related launch readiness deliverables.
+ Establishes the strategic framework aligned to the asset strategy that is leverage amongst all cross functional partners.
+ Leads and manages the development, execution, measurement, and ongoing optimizations of key initiatives across multi channels, cross functional partners, and stakeholders.
+ Leads BI relationship and represents BI Point of View on key strategic priorities with both internal and external partners to ensure clear communication and aligned objectives with collaborations, partnerships, investments, initiatives, and corresponding tactics.
+ Ensures appropriate strategic direction is executed by external agencies and cross functional partners.
+ Develops annual objectives and budgets.
+ Oversees/leads primary and secondary research.
+ Works closely with cross functional partners to influence appropriate Key Performance Indicators for all market develop initiatives.
+ Informs A&I measurement plan and monthly metrics reports to actively assess Key Performance Indicators for all market development initiatives and tactics.
+ Leads the management of contractors/project managers and support cross functionally in department specific knowledge, process and skills including understanding the market, messaging, etc. This includes setting project expectations and providing regular feedback.
+ Leads the development and monitoring of product forecasts and brand expense budgets.
+ Meets financial targets for the brand including net sales, discounts, market share and expenses.
+ Liaises with Corporate Marketing to ensure alignment with Global IAP, Asset planning, and Digital Health.
+ Creates a performance-based culture with clear accountability and a sense of urgency for achieving results.
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
+ Ten-plus (10+) years of experience, including six (6) years marketing experience or other relevant experience, inclusive of two-plus (2+) years of Specialty Marketing or other Specialty experience required.
+ Experience with infused, cold chain, injectables, or specialty pharmacy/distribution preferred.
+ Experience working directly with digital partners to develop and execute initiatives strongly preferred (e.g., Google, third party media providers, social media community platforms, etc.)
+ Experience in guiding and integrating digital analytics and driving metrics-based optimization strongly preferred. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
+ Demonstrated people management and leadership.
+ Demonstrated project management skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage budget and resources.
+ Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a highly matrixed organization.
+ History of successful performance.
+ Proficiency in MSOffice, Outlook, and database applications.
+ Job primarily is focused on overall development and successful implementation of brand strategy.
+ Requires a creative and innovative approach.
+ Has developed knowledge and skills in own discipline; still acquiring higher level skills.
+ Ability to work autonomously and can be responsible for leading teams.
+ Ability to travel (may include overnight travel).
+ Ability to travel domestically and internationally (will include overnight travel), 20% or more.
