We're seeking a Director of IT to join our Engineering team in New York.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead IT Operations: Oversee all aspects of office IT management to ensure seamless operation of office technology and infrastructure.
- Implement Automation Solutions: Drive the adoption of automation tools like Terraform to streamline IT processes and improve efficiency.
- Manage Endpoint Devices: Develop and execute strategies for endpoint device management, ensuring security and optimal performance across all company devices.
- Oversee Identity Management: Implement and manage identity management systems to ensure secure and efficient access control within the organization.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to align IT initiatives with business goals and objectives.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Budget Oversight: Develop and manage the IT budget, optimizing resource allocation for maximum ROI.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations, implementing best practices for data security and privacy.
- Stay Current with Technology Trends: Keep abreast of emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
What will I bring?
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- Extensive IT Experience: Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role with a focus on office IT management and technology.
- Automation Expertise: Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar platforms.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of endpoint device management and identity management systems.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing IT teams.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align IT strategies with organizational goals and drive change initiatives.
- Project Management: Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Exceptional analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, or PMP are a plus.

In support of pay transparency and equity, the minimum and maximum full-time annual base salary for this role in New York is $160,000 - $210,000 at the time of posting, with the potential of an incentive or bonus. While this is our reasonable expectation this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. We offer a variety of benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, 401(k), EAP, parental leave, discretionary time off, and company-paid holidays.
