About the Job
Maytronics, the leading innovator in pool cleaning technology, is in search of a talented Director of Finance to support our ECCXI subsidiary. ECCXI has established a strong eCommerce business in the swimming pool category, selling pool products on its own websites as well as on Amazon and other US marketplaces. ECCXI currently operates fulfillment centers in Trenton, TX, McKinney, TX, Ocala FL, Coraopolis PA, and Ogden UT and plans for continued expansion.
This position will serve as business partner to ECCXI and Maytronics senior leadership providing timely insights and advice on strategy and operations for the ECCXI business. This position will lead ECCXI finance and accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial information in accordance with IFRS, regulatory, and company requirements. The position will provide business support including monthly financial forecasting and reporting, product profitability, ROI analysis, and evaluation of risks and opportunities for the business. The position will serve as finance partner to ECCXI operations teams and leverage relationships with Group and Corporate Finance teams based on communication and collaboration.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Serves as business partner for General Manager, Global eCommerce and General Manager, ECCXI NA, providing strategic and financial guidance.
· Leads finance and accounting operations for ECCXI business.
· Creates and publishes accurate financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with IFRS and company policies.
· Leads business financial forecasting process including income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows.
· Conducts profitability analysis of product lines identifying variance drivers to Budget and prior year and makes recommendations to management.
· Develops and enhances internal management reporting in collaboration with business and finance team, identifying trends, risks & opportunities, and actionable insights.
· Leads and develops ECCXI Controller, Business Analyst, and finance team.
· Gathers and manages data from multiple sources to identify trends, provide insights, and deliver actionable presentation of facts.
· Assesses and reviews business investment decisions to determine progress / success and establishes thresholds for continued funding.
· Monitors market changes including macroeconomic and competitors. Uses relevant data to optimize product pricing.
· Collaborates with and supports business purchasing team to identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities.
· Monitors operational statistics, trends, variances, and issues, and drives appropriate actions and communication with business leaders.
· Supports General Manager in preparation and presentation of quarterly Business review to company Board.
· Assists with continued enhancement of S&OP process.
· Drives inventory analysis to determine optimal inventory holding by location.
· Coordinates support for internal and external auditors for financial and internal control (Sarbanes Oxley) audits.
· Drives annual operating planning process and Budget.
· Tracks and analyzes consumer promotions and makes recommendations to business.
· Performs ad hoc analyses.
· Supports tax advisors and verifies compliance with all tax requirements.
· Evaluates and drives enhancements to technology, systems, and processes that will allow accounting and finance operations to scale and improve efficiencies.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
· MBA and CPA preferred
· Minimum of 10 years’ experience in corporate finance with track record of increased responsibilities
· Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis of income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows
· Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
· Strong financial modeling skills
· Data Management experience and ability to work with large amounts of data
· Experience working in ecommerce business, preferably using Sellercloud
· Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
· Sound understanding of accounting principles (IFRS preferred)
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively
· Proven ability to drive results in fast-paced environment
· Ability to quicky interpret complex information, simplify and clearly communicate to broad groups of stakeholders

· Experience with QuickBooks and leading financial systems implementation
