Create and guide strategies and vision for data and analytics advancement, within a cloud-based and on-premise platforms.
Ensure teams meet organizational needs through effective data management tools.
Ensure teams such as data governance and data reporting teams are delivering the data needs to the organization via data warehouse, data lake and a suite of reporting, dashboard and analytics tools with robust data management capabilities such as data quality, data integrity, data catalog, data lineage, etc.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and enforce data governance rules, working with business and IT to develop a data strategy, quality framework, and information model.Maintain a catalog of authoritative systems and data owners for transparency.Lead and execute a comprehensive data strategy, ensuring compliance with data protection policies.Define operational strategies and performance metrics for data governance.
Manage the technology budget and support the tech leadership team.Facilitate communication and support cross-functional teams throughout project planning, design, and implementation.Develop a data governance plan aligned with industry standards and Alliant’s needs, defining roles, responsibilities, and accountability.Set data quality benchmarks and collaborate with custodians to ensure data consistency.Establish and manage an enterprise-wide data governance framework and intake process.Ensure compliance with data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), working with legal and compliance teams.Lead the evolution of data tools, technologies, and practices in collaboration with the senior data architect.Manage and mentor the data governance team, overseeing performance, development, and resource alignment with business objectives.EducationBachelors Degree - Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or Related - MinimumGraduate Degree - Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or Related - PreferredYears of Experience7 years - Data Engineering or related - Minimum5 years - Data Management, Data Governance or Related - Minimum5 years - People Management - MinimumIn Lieu of Education:15 years - Data Engineering, Data Management, and Data Governance including people managementYou will benefit from:Competitive medical, dental, and free vision benefitsPaid parental leaveCompetitive compensation planGym memberships discounts Generous PTO and banking holidays off Tuition reimbursement 401k with immediate employer match and vesting Adhere to and ensure compliance of all business transactions with policy and process of the Bank Secrecy Act.
