Senior Manager, Data and Analytics (SQL/R/ETL/Python/Power BI/Tableau)
Location : Montvale, NJ (On-site 2 days a week) - Must live local to the Montvale area.
Salary : 160-180k base salary

The Director, Data and Analytics position will be a tactical and strategic position responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of data initiatives that support and drive the strategic reporting needs of the organization. The successful candidate will create, lead, and implement data initiatives through prescriptive data analytics to unlock business insights, drive key KPIs, and support the organization's strategic goals. They will work closely with the other departments to ensure data alignment, consistent reporting, value to members, and a focus on improving and building out new capabilities utilizing the latest tools and technologies. Senior Manager, Data and Analytics (SQL/R/ETL/Python/Power BI/Tableau)

- Advanced SQL experience, including scheduled ETL transformations.
- Strong experience with complex data gathering, warehousing, and analysis (e.g. SQL, R, Excel)
- Strong hands on experience analyzing and mining large datasets
- Strong applied experience of programming / scripting languages (e.g. R, Python, or Java.)
- Strong applied experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Ability to analyze and interpret a mix of qualitative and quantitative data, construct compelling narratives, and provide actionable insights and recommendations on complex topics
- Experience with casual and predictive modeling using parametric and non-parametric techniques, including multiple regression, decision trees, time series analysis, and cluster analysis.

Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement new business analytics tools, techniques, and processes to provide creative business insights
- Work with other departments to understand their data needs and work with the reporting team to deliver business intelligence (BI) and reporting solutions
- Serve as overall project manager around gathering data and reporting needs for all levels of the organization
- Drive the implementation of a data warehousing solution to support data analytics, governance, and reporting needs within the organization
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional analytical process improvement projects and dashboarding processes
- Identify and uncover business needs and lead the execution of our analytic solutions for internal stakeholders
- Lead 3rd party data integration needs & data validation with various departments, business stakeholders, and vendors
- Hands-on development and implementation of analytical solutions using SQL, ETL process or other development tools to achieve data and analytical goals
- Proactively providing fact-based insights, visualizations, and recommendations to address specific business needs
- Demonstrate leadership by delivering and influencing the solutions that fulfill the business information needs and align with the information vision and strategy.
- Lead the data team and take an active role in the performance management process by completing goal setting, interim review, and year-end review on a timely basis and soliciting ongoing feedback
- Provide advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to carry out organizational initiatives to ensure project timelines are met and outcomes are delivered to expectations
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Master's in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Analytics, Information Systems, Economics, Management or other quantitative discipline field with strong academic record.
- Requires 7+ years of related work experience.
- Strategic and innovative thinker able to tailor technical implementations to complex business issues.
- Eager to collaborate and architect the optimal technical implementations for state-of-the-art analytic tools.
- Enthusiastic about working with terabyte sized data sets to design scalable, robust analytical solutions.
- Experience designing and implementing data-driven solutions, such as reporting, algorithms, or data integration systems to align business goals.
Technical Skills:
